의료기술의 발전과 풍부한 영양 공급 등으로 이제 우리나라도 100 세 시대를 맞아 산업 전 분야의 빠른 변혁을 겪고 있다 . 그런 만큼 이전에 비해 나이 든다는 것에 대한 기본 개념 자체가 변화하고 있다 . 예전에 비해 건강한 상태를 유지하며 더 오래 일할 수 있어야 함은 물론이거니와 , 젊은 상태를 유지하며 나이 들기를 원하는 사람들이 나날이 늘어가고 있다 . 건강 분야에서는 이러한 현상을 일컬어 ‘ 웰에이징 (Well-Aging)’ 이라고 부른다 . 그만큼 우리 중장년층에게는 노년에 대한 대비 역시 절실히 필요하다 .

웰에이징센터는 Inner Health, Outer Beauty, Secret Touch 를 추구하는 , 100 세 시대에 발맞춘 전문병원으로 널리 알려져 있다 . 1981 년 종합건강진단센터로 임상을 시작하여 , 1992 년 현 압구정로에 청박병원을 설립한 유 원장은 내과 , 비뇨기과와 정형외과 등이 있는 종합병원에서 내과와 종합진료센터 , 성인병관리를 위주로 다양한 분야에서 자신의 실력을 선보여 왔다 .

유 원장이 안티에이징 분야에 관심을 갖게 된 것은 지극히 당연한 일이었다 . 외국 학회를 다니며 안티에이징 산업의 도입이 절실히 필요함을 느낀 유 원장은 병원 내에 안티에이징센터 ( 항가령센터 ) 를 설립하게 된다 . 당시에만 해도 종합병원의 한 분과로서 역할을 다했을 뿐이지만 , 유 원장의 꿈은 거기에 멈추지 않았다 . 그녀는 2008 년 청박병원의 비뇨기과와 정형외과 , 입원실을 폐쇄하고 같은 건물에 피부미용과 안티에이징 내과진료를 독자적으로 진행하는 청박메디 美 를 설립했다 . 뒤이어 2013 년 자신만의 독특한 방식으로 내과 , 피부과 , 여성의학과를 프로그램화하여 진료하는 웰에이징센터를 열게 되었다 .

유 원장은 “ 웰에이징센터는 청박병원에서부터 시작되었던 안티에이징의 꿈을 본격적으로 키워나가는 공간이다 . 기존의 진료에서 전혀 다른 분야에 접근하는 것이 아니라 청박병원에서부터 지켜온 노하우를 펼쳐 보이는 곳이 되고자 한다 ” 고 말한다 .

웰에이징센터가 자랑하는 100 세 시대를 위한 진료의 명칭은 ‘ 코미모 ’ 진료다 . 코끼리터치 , 美 터치 , 모나리자터치의 약자인 코미모 진료는 청장년기부터 건강한 100 세 시대를 맞이하기 위해 가져야 할 특화된 진료분야를 하나로 묶은 웰빙건강관리 시스템이다 . 

내분비대사내과와 기능의학과 , 자연요법 의학치료 등 오랜 경험의 조합으로 만든 코끼리터치는 신체를 최적의 상태로 유지시키고 질환의 상태를 후진시키는 진료 프로그램이다 . 비만 , 고혈압 , 고혈당 등 대사증후군을 치료하여 협심증 , 심근경색 , 허혈성심질환 등이 심 ? 뇌혈관계 질환으로 진행되지 않도록 예방과 치료를 목표로 하는 과정이다 . 또한 순환기질환은 수술을 받지 않고 개선시키는 진료를 위주로 한다 .

웰에이징센터는 전통의학의 부족한 부분을 채워줄 의료기술을 한발 앞서 접목해 나가며 , 청박병원에서부터 누적된 경험이 쌓인 전문적 진료를 실시하고 있다 .

유 원장은 “ 청소년기와 청년기에 후회 없는 인생설계가 필요하듯이 100 세 건강은 청장년기부터 시니어건강설계를 해야 후회하지 않는다 . 이러한 나만의 브랜드 진료가 각 분야에서 인정받고 있으며 , 아직까지는 치료 이후 고객 분들이 100% 만족하고 삶의 질을 증진시키는 임상을 하고 있음이 감사할 따름이다 . 앞으로도 만족도를 높이기 위하여 최신 의료기술을 꾸준히 받아들이고자 한다 ” 는 포부를 전했다 . 

유 원장은 스스로도 큰 수술을 하고 재활 생활 2 년끝에 활동을 재개한 지 올해로 3 년째라고 한다 . “ 투병의 고통을 잘 알기 때문에 내 에너지가 고갈될 때까지 정말 나의 진료가 필요한 사람에게 도움이 되는 삶이 이어지기를 희망한다 ” 는 유 원장이 있기에 대한민국의 미래는 더욱 아름다워지고 있다 .

Well Aging Center pursues Inner Health, Outer Beauty and Secret Touch and is known widely as Korea's representative well aging-specialized hospital in Korea. 

Starting as a total medical check-up center in 1981, Director Yoo opened Chungbak Hospital on Apgujeong-ro in 1992 and was providing medical services in the areas of internal medicine, urology, orthopedics and adult diseases. It was a natural thing for Yoo to have an interest in anti-aging as she felt the need to introduce the industry to Korea while traveling the world to participate in seminars and symposiums. 

She opened Hanggaryeong Center (anti-aging center) within the hospital. She then closed the departments of urology, orthopedics and patient's room but carried out skin and anti-aging treatments independently and established Chungbak Medi Mi. In 2013, she opened Well Aging Center with her unique programmes for internal medicine, dermatology and female medicine. Yoo said "Well Aging Center will provide differentiated medical treatments based on our experience and knowhow."

Paying attention to Komimo

Komimo is the most popular treatment of Well Aging Center. The words stand for Kokiri (elephant) Touch, Mi (beauty) Touch and Mona Lisa Touch. It is a total wellbeing health care system designed to suit the age of homo-hundred. Kokiri touch, for example, is made based on her long experience in metabolism, functional medicine and naturopathy.

It aims to treat diabetes, high blood pressure and hyperglycemia and prevent angina, myocardial infarction and IHD and improve circulatory diseases without operation. Mi Touch, on the other hand, aims to open scars and give whitening and resilience to the skin through laser and regeneration management. 

It is effective for treating skin troubles and whitening and is very popular among young people. Yoo said "A Chinese patient who recently has visited the center has many pimple scars on his face. I've done my treatment for 2 times out total 10 times and most scars already have faded away and he is now a handsome man." 

Lastly, Mona Lisa Touch is a laser treatment which can solve vagina tightening and urinary incontinence and improve the body functions like a young body. It is important for post-menopausal women to take care of their bodies as the age often brings them low self-esteem and depression. They are highly recommended to try Mona Lisa Touch.

Director Yoo said "The medical service (combined with internal secretion) of Chungbak Hospital is the field started from early 2000 in overseas countries but Korea saw an increasing number of doctors in the field from 2013." 

Yoo is a full time member of Endocrine Society US, ethic board member of the Korean Society of Osteoporosis and Vice Chairwoman of the Korea Association of Chronic Disease Management. Well Aging Center exerts its effort in combining orthodox medicine to modern medical technology and is providing specialized treatments based on its accumulated experience and knowledge.

 Yoo said "I'm really pleased to say that all of our patients so far have given 100% satisfaction to our services. We will keep doing our best and introducing cutting edge medical technologies" adding that "I myself had a big operation before which took me 2 years to recover. I know how painful and frustrated patients have become when they are ill. For this reason, I will keep providing my very best services as long as I can carry on."
